FEATURED EVENT:
The Outdoor Nudge

Rationale & Purpose:
- We believe that the outdoor classroom is an excellent lab and hands-on classroom.
- We believe that using the out-of-doors as a classroom, regardless if it is on the school campus or a park or a natural area, provides tangible content, enforces concepts, provides visual and physical contact, and expands learning skills.
- The purpose of the conference would be to provide anyone in the educational field some content, some materials, some manipulatives, some activities, and some resources to better facilitate teaching in the ‘natural world’.
