2008 aca texoma board
Members elected to the ACA Texoma Board serve members, camps and
the public in Oklahoma and Texas. They govern the section, set
policy, supervise the operation of section business, interpret the Section's work and values
to the community, represent the Section, and act as a spokesperson for the camp community.
In 2008 there are three positions up for election:
VICE PRESIDENT - DEVELOPMENT
The VP of Development is an elected position. The VP of Development
serves on the Executive Committee working closely with the president
and staff. This position also chairs the membership development committee,
and is responsible for planning and implementing membership development
and membership benefit programs in the section.
MEMBER-AT-LARGE
In addition to the general responsibilities listed in the first
paragraph, member at large positions are assigned specific
responsibilities by the elected board.
There are currently six member-at-large elected positions to the ACA Texoma
Board.
